Shipping Q & A

What is country of origin? The country where the coffee was farmed, roasted and were your coffee will be shipped from.

What countries do you ship?  We ship to the United States, Canada, and all countries in the continents of Europe & Asia. For the United States we ship to all 50 states, with exceptions of the unincorporated territories. All of our coffee is shipped from Honduras and soon we will offer coffee from other origins are well.

Are there customs fees or import tariffs that customers have to pay? For the United States and Canada there are no additional customs fees, so the price on the product section of cafeleafshop.com is the price you pay.  If your purchase exceeds $700.00 then US Customs will apply a tariff that customer has to pay directly to the US Customs & or US Federal or local agencies.

For other countries, there customs fees that fluctuate and such fees will need to be paid by the customer directly to the customs authority of the recipient country.

How often do you ship? We ship every business day, from Monday through Friday with DHL International Courier. Upon making your order, allow 2-3 business days for your coffee to arrive at our fulfilment center in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Your coffee orders will arrive from coffee farms, mills in the mountainous  regions, and in rare cases from distributors in Tegucigalpa. Remember your coffee is roasted at origin. Once we receive your coffee from the farm, we then pack it for international shipping, DHL will make the pickup and delivery at your door in 2-3 days.  In total, from the coffee farm to our cafeleaf facilities, and cafeleaf to your door, estimate about 5 business days.   

Do you have a minimum & maximum order? We have a "total weight" minimum order of 5 pounds, equivalent to 2,268 grams and 30 pounds maximum due to international shipping & logistical viability.

How do I track my order? Once your order has been prepared for shipping and DHL picks up your coffee box or bag at our Cafeleaf facilities, we will send an email or text to you with a tracking number so you can keep track via DHL's website.

Can I expedite my order? Our current delivery time with DHL is the fastest available, there are no courier companies in Honduras that have a faster option to expedite delivery.
